This is the Icon of Saint Sava, who was a Serbian prince, Orthodox monk and the first archbishop of the autocephalous Serbian Church. The (Orthodox) Temple of Saint Sava in Belgrade, Serbia is the largest Orthodox Church currently in use. The church is dedicated to St. Sava, founder of the Serbian church and an important figure in medieval Serbia. He is the patron saint of Serbian schools and schoolchildren. He holds a Gospel and is dressed in archbishop's clothes. He is also equal to the apostles- special title given to some saints.
